Minister of Environment and Energy, Thoriq Ibrahim has inaugurated the project to develop sewerage facilities in Himmafushi, Kaafu atoll.

Through this state and Islamic Development Bank funded project,  a  wastewater treatment plant and an administrative building would be established in Himmafushi.

Riyan was assigned the task of designing the sewerage network and providing supervision during the construction phase.
