Electrical Engineer (Local)

Qualification and other Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates interested in pursuing a career in the MEP field are preferred.
Main Responsibilities
• Design of various types of electrical building services systems (lighting, power, lightning
protection systems, security & alarm systems, building energy management systems etc
• Production of drawings using Autocad and Revit.
• Prepare electrical layout plans with schematics.
• Prepare load calculations & voltage drop calculations.
• Prepare shop drawings for construction.
• Supervising the installation of building services, ensuring material specifications for
standards, performance and safety are met.
• Design of electrical infrastructure systems in islands & resorts including distribution
networks, transformers and voltage drop calculations.
• Have a broad understanding of various MEP systems in buildings and give advice to clients
and design team accordingly.
