Preparation of a 20 year land use plan for the island of Hithaadhoo in B. Atoll. This involved plot level surveying of the existing island followed by community consultations to study the existing condition of the island and future needs.

The plan was prepared based on the needs identified from the community consultations with consideration of the future population projections for the next 20 years. The land use plan includes the existing land uses and proposed land uses for the island in the areas of housing, commercial, institutions, industrial, sports and recreational and environmental.
