National Action Plan on Preventing and Responding to Violence against Children

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical assistance and support for the national conference and drafting of the national plan of action.

The services provided by us for this study project includes,

  • Consultation with the stakeholders (Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services, Child and Family Protection Services, Maldives Police Service/Child and Family Protection wing, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Department of Juvenile Justice) including CSOs.
  • Consultation with 5 communities, including (IBAMA), parents, 10-15 caretakers from FCSCs, 30-35 young people (male & female), and 30-35 adolescents
  • Drafting of the national plan of action, In consultation and with guidance from the steering committee.
  • Organizing and facilitating a 3-day national conference.
