STO intended to expand its fuel storage capacity by constructing three 8000MT diesel tanks and one 4000MT petrol tanks. The berth was retrofitted to accommodate 30,000 DWT vessels by upgrading the fenders and the bollards.

Riyan Pvt.Ltd was awarded the project consultancy which included project management and routine inspections of the construction site. Furthermore, as the consultant we under took the approvals for the tank designs, methodologies, construction material and also their interim payments.
